The National Academies’ Standing Committee on Advancing Science Communication invites you to join a webinar focusing on the role of science communication and engagement to meet the needs of communities disproportionately affected by COVID-19, including low-income African-American, Native American, and diverse, multi-lingual communities. The webinar will feature the latest data on what we know (and don’t know) about how diverse communities are being affected by COVID-19 and why. Expert panelists will offer insights for how to effectively engage diverse communities now while also investing in long-term strategies that leverage the strengths of these communities to serve their needs. Participants are encouraged to join in the interactive Q&A and discussions.
