- Prof. Dr. Mitsunobu R Kano (speaker/moderator), with lecture entitled
(scientific thinking and the real world-thoughts from medicine and SDGs)
Prof. Kano is the Science and Technology Co-Advisor to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Professor and a Vice Executive Director in Okayama University
- Prof. Dr. Quarraisha Abdool Karim, with lecture entitled
“The dual epidemics of HIV and Covid-19”
Prof. Quarraisha is Professor in Clinical Epidemiology Columbia University USA, an infectious diseases epidemiologist and associate Scientific Director of CAPRISA-South Africa. She is member of the African Academy of Sciences (AAS), the Academy of Science of South Africa and the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS).
- Prof. Ramy K. Aziz with lecture
(Preparing for the next pandemic—the bitter lessons learned from COVID19?)
Prof. Ramy is currently a professor and chair of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the Faculty of Pharmacy-Cairo University.
- Prof. Dr Maria Augusta Arruda, with a lecture entitled
(Science: for the many, not the few)
Prof. Maria is Research Development Manager at university of University of Nottingham, previous academic staff at school of life science.
- Convener will be Prof. Dr. Amal Amin, associate professor at National research center, Egypt, founder and chair of WISWB
WISWB is new global initiative to serve society with science, connect people worldwide with science and make science for all with main slogan of (science for sustainable development).
SciComm X is a science communication Agency with several projects include Arab Science Week, Egyptian Science Week, Scientific Arab, Science Journalism Forum, etc.
