Overview: The Government extends the epidemiological surveillance system, which is maintained at international airports, to international ports and border crossings in the country, in the presence of the first confirmed case of Covid-19 coronavirus in Latin America (Brazil). The Minister of Health also announces the activation of the Center for Health Emergency Operations and a National Biosafety Committee to study the issue of coronavirus management with health personnel in hospital centers and at border crossings.
