Overview: Declare permanent emergency in health system to prevent COVID-19
The National Government declared a permanent emergency in the National Public Health System in order to establish mechanisms for the prevention and containment of the coronavirus (COVID-19). It was pointed out that, to date, there have been no positive cases of COVID-19 in the nation, after the timely application of diagnostic tests to around 30 suspected cases of the disease.
