Overview: Venezuela presents the National Prevention and Containment Plan for Covid-19 to the United Nations system.
The Minister of Popular Power for Health, Carlos Alvarado, held a working meeting with the United Nations System, as well as with international organizations. During the meeting, the Minister detailed the five components of the National Plan for the prevention and containment of Coronavirus, among them, the strengthening of epidemiological and laboratory surveillance, sanitary control at entry points, the implementation of clinical-epidemiological management protocols. of the suspected and confirmed cases of Covid-19, communication and social mobilization, as well as the identification and strengthening of sentinel centers.
