06 April 2020 – Universities, colleges and schools across Colombia to continue classes from home

Overview: Students from colleges and universities in the country will continue in Mandatory Preventive Isolation until May 31.

Public schools will resume classes from April 20, to meet the academic weeks of the school calendar with home study through the platforms that the Government has for it.

Regarding the private sector, the Calendar B schools, which are already finishing their school weeks, will continue as they came, in a virtual, digital, distance work with the students at home, to finish their academic cycle. The private schools of Calendar A, which made the adjustment in accordance with the secretariats of Education, the invitation is to work with platforms, distance, guides, to guarantee the continuity of the academic process.

Regarding universities and higher education institutions, the academic year will continue from home through platforms, remote education, content and various modalities.
