Overview: Extension of mandatory preventive isolation from May 11 to 25

President Iván Duque announced the extension of Smart Mandatory Preventive Isolation (National Quarantine) from Monday, May 11 to Monday, May 25, 2020.

He reported that activities (additional to those included in Decree 593 of April 2020), related to manufacturing and industry, are generally excepted from this measure.

Manufacture of furniture, mattresses and bed bases

Manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers

Manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products

Manufacture of machinery and equipment

Maintenance and repair of automobiles

Maintenance and repair of technology and computer equipment

Wholesale and retail trade of vehicles (including parts, pieces and accessories)

Wholesale trade of furniture and household goods

Wholesale trade of machinery and equipment

Retail trade of pet products.
