Overview: The Argentine Government prohibited basic public service companies, such as electrical energy, water, gas, mobile telephones, internet and TV cable, to suspend their services due to lack of payment by certain people, for up to three periods of payment.
This policy applies to beneficiaries of Social Welfare Plans, people with informal jobs, retired people, small and medium sized businesses.
