Overview: The Argentine Government created a Special Government Unit to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. It will be made up by scientists, researchers and policymakers. The unit”s main task will be to advise the Presidency and the Ministry of Health on matters regarding available human resources and infrastructure to tackle the pandemic, and to develop new resources, such as self-testing kits.
