Overview: COVID-19 Declaration of Emergency Directive 008 disallows actions involved with residential or commercial real estate based on a tenant or mortgagee’s default of any obligations set forth by contracts or rental agreements such as lockouts, notice to vacate, notice to pay or quit, eviction or foreclosure action until the directive is rescinded or the Declaration of Emergency expires. This directive takes effect March 29th at 11:59pm until until the directive is rescinded, renewed, or the Declaration of Emergency expires.
