Overview: COVID-19 Declaration of Emergency Directive 001 declares all kindergarten through 12th grade schools will be closed to students from March 16th until the order is rescinded. The directive applys to all public, community, and private K-12 schools but childcare services are exempt. Schools are to remain closed until April 6th at the earliest, only after a review of the risk of transmission and a stamp of approval by the Cheif Medical Officer of the State of Nevada.
