Overview: Governor Edwards declared a Public Health Emergency following a meeting with the Unified Command Group. As of Today, 13 residents of Louisiana have been affected with COVID-19. The declaration attempts to address efforts to prevent price gauging and limit international travel for state employees to Level 2 and Level 3 countries as designated by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
