Overview: Executive order 20-17 declares that all licensed hospitals in RI must submit to the RI Dept. of Health (RIDOH) daily reports on their hospital bed capacity and COVID-19 hospitalization data. Hospitals must also submit daily reports on supplies related to treatment of COVID-19 to the RIDOH. All licensed hospitals must submit regular reports to the CDC and other federal partners on hospital bed utilization, ICU bed utilization, typical and projected surge occupancy, ventilator inventory, ventilator utilization, and projected ventilator surge need. Every private and public entity administering FDA approved tests for COVID-19 must report the results daily to the RIDOH. This order is set to expire May 7th.
