Overview: This order grants an exemption of persons engaged in flood suppression and prevention activities in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo from CMOH Order 07-2020. Specifically, persons identified as exempted may gather in groups of more than 15 people in an outdoor location and may be within 2 metres from one another. Exempted persons must wear personal protective equipment (if available), follow appropriate hygiene, social distancing and other measures to prevent COVID-19 transmission where possible. This intervention is aims to allow people to handle an environmental emergency despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
