Overview: The Ontario government announced an extension of the closure of Ontario’s provincial parks and conservation reserves until May 31, 2020. This includes all camping, roofed accommodations, day use, access points, and all public buildings. Penalty-free refunds will be offered to those with cancelled reservations, or those who wish to change or cancel future reservations.

Type of Justification: Perception of an increased threat
Evidence/Justification: The only justification given for the extension of closure is that the virus has yet to be contained, thus, stay-at-home measures must continue in order to make progress to stop the spread of the virus.
