Overview: This order clarifies the Labour Relations Code under Order 10-2020 from the Chief Medical Officer of Health. All employees of a health care facility may work at only one health care facility. Casual and part-time employees working at more than one health care facility must select which facility they wish to work at. Regular full-time employees who also work part-time or casually at other health care facilities must remain working at the health care facility where they are a regular, full-time employee. Additional regulations are provided for employers in terms of leaves of absence, scheduling, compliance with orders and dispute resolution. This intervention is in place to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 between health care facilities.
