Overview: The Ontario government is working in collaboration with Medical Innovation Xchange (MIX), an industry-led hub for med-tech start-ups, to provide non-medical manufacturing companies with free support as they redesign their production to provide essential supplies for healthcare workers and facilities during COVID-19. This collaboration aims to drive innovation in the sector, create jobs, and strengthen the medical supply chain to fortify the province’s ability to become more self-sufficient and prepared for future crises. Non-medical manufacturing companies can access services and support from MIX, which can accelerate delivery of medical supplies to frontline workers.
