Overview: Order 02-2020 was implemented to prohibit mass gatherings of more than 50 attendees and prohibit use of public recreational facilities and private entertainment facilities. This order also prohibited all Albertans for attending bars or nightclubs. Under this order, attendance to restaurants, cafes, food courts and other food-serving locations are allowed up to 50% of the capacity of the location or up to a maximum of 50 people. This intervention was aimed at the general public as well as the private sector and businesses with an intention to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
