Overview: Immediate investments will be made to support Islanders. This includes support to United Way PEI, PEI Food Bank Association, Salvation Army PEI, and an initial contingency fund for community programs and non-government organizations. Further support includes an emergency income relief program for self-employed Islanders and an emergency working capital financing fund for small businesses. Closures and restrictions for some service delivery locations were also announced.
