Overview: Order 17-2020: This intervention removes the prohibition against Albertans attending a recreational facility that operates an outdoor shooting range for the purposes of participating in target practice or target shooting competition. Operators of such facilities must implement practices that reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 among employees and attendees including maintenance of high levels of sanitation. These facilities must clean and disinfect all items rented or loaned to an attendee before it may be re-loaned or re-rented. Reservations for attendees to use the facility and to reserve equipment they will rent must be made online or over the phone to every extent possible. This intervention is intended to support the re-opening of services to Albertans while ensuring that health and safety can be maintained.
