Overview: Saskatchewan will begin Phase 1 of reopening the province on May 4th. This involves the gradual lifting of certain restrictions that were put in place due to COVID-19. This includes allowing the public to access certain medical services which had been restricted – examples include dentistry, physical therapy, & optometry. Guidelines are also provided regarding activities such as fishing, golf courses & campgrounds.

Type of Justification: Advice of INTERNAL government advisory committee or group
Evidence/Justification: The reopening plan was reported to be developed in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Saskatchewan. The Reopening Plan report indicates that restrictions will be lifted in stages, while considering socioeconomic factors & the risk of transmission.
