Overview: The Ontario government has issued an emergency order to defer a portion of Global Adjustment charges for industrial and commerical electricity consumers that do not participate in the Regulated Price Plan, for the period starting from April 2020. This intends to offer relief to companies on their April, May, and June 2020 electricity bills. This order intends to provide more than 50,000 companies with immediate financial support as they contribute to the fight against COVID-19 and the restarting of the economy.
