Overview: On 1/28/29 Bahamas’ Ministry of Health made its first public service travel advisory. The Ministry repeated its announcement (removing bold emphasis) the WHO was not recommending travel nor trade restrictions, but advised citizens who MUST travel to China take precautions, and all citizens returning from China will be monitored.

Evidence/Justification: In it’s first public advisory, The Bahamas Ministry of Health noted the WHO did not recommend travel restrictions, but then implemented their own without scientific justification other than a perceived threat, based on their prior personal experience with other viruses.
