Overview: On 1/22/20 Bahamas’ Ministry of Health made their first public service announcement to inform their citizens of the novel coronavirus, at that time identified by the WHO as in Asia and already spread to the US. The Ministry boldly emphasized the WHO was not recommending travel nor trade trestrictions, and noting the PHEIC deferred declaration of a Public Health Mergency of International Concern.
