Overview: Spain has performed 4.3 million PCR tests since the start of the COVID-19 epidemic. Specifically, the regional governments have notified the Ministry of Health that a total of 4,347,022 PCR diagnostic tests have been performed up to 23 July.
Specifically, between 17 and 23 July, the regional governments have increased their capacity to perform this type of diagnostic testing by 7%. Furthermore, the PCR rate to date has grown to stand at 72.29 tests per 1,000 inhabitants.
