Overview: COVID-19 Scientific and Technical Committee to the President – The government has appointed six highly recognized clinical experts and scientist, mainly in the epidemiology field, as members of the Spanish “COVID-19 Scientific and Technical Committee”, to inform policy making and provide scientific advice to the government management board. At the head of it is the director of the Center for Coordination of Health Alerts and Emergencies (CCAES), and Member of the advisory committee of the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control Fernando Simón.
