Overview: The new coronavirus claimed the first fatality in Slovenia. According to TV Slovenia, the patient died at the Ljubljana Infectious Diseases Clinic. He is said to be a resident of a home for the elderly in Metlika, from where information about new infected people came in the morning. The infection was found in seven residents and five employees, and the patients were transported to the Golnik Clinic. The death of the patient was officially confirmed in Odmevi by the Minister of Health Tomaž Gantar, who added that he was a person from the risk group.
