Overview: The Dutch Government has launched a new campaign to help victims and bystanders take action against domestic violence, especially during COVID-19. With more people being forced to stay at home, tensions may rise which can increase the risk of physical, psychological or sexual violence.
The ‘It doesn’t stop until you do something’ campaign has been broadcast across television and radio stations nationwide. A dedicated website has also been established, along with an anonymous hotline providing advice to people on what to do in cases of domestic violence or abuse.
