Overview: The Dutch Government imposed new rules for visiting youth, disability and psychiatric care facilities.

There is a total ban on visiting places that care for people with disabilities, unless contact is deemed essential to a resident”s wellbeing, in which case patients are restricted to one visitor a day for up to an hour. The same rules apply for visiting children in youth care homes.

Rules for visiting people in psychiatric facilities will depend on each individual case, ideally one visitor a day for up to one hour. Visitors in all cases will not be allowed if they have any symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g. cough, cold, fever etc).
