Overview: The Dutch Government required the closure of all food and beverage outlets, bars, cafes, restaurants, gyms, saunas, sex clubs and coffee shops are also required to closed.
Meal delivery and takeaway services can remain open however, people are advised to avoid queues and eat their meals at home. Coffee shops can also stay open for takeaway orders.
The government directed that people must keep a distance of 1.5 meters from each other wherever possible, including in shops.
