Overview: The Dutch Government has annouced the arrival of a second repatriation flight for residents of Bonaire, who are currently stranded overseas and unable to return. 12 residents stranded in the United States will return to Bonaire onboard a flight arranged by the American Consulate in Curaçao.

The first repatriation flight arrived on 17 April 2020, and more than 20 residents have now returned.

The Government is aware of over 250 residents spread across 20 countries. Planning and logistics is underway for further repatriation flights, including work to expand local care and reception capacity so that larger groups can be repatriated simultaneously.
