Type of Justification: IWT notes that clinical trials with the above and other drugs (with more than 40 drugs in total) are currently underway in some countries, as researchers and physicians around the world hope to find a way to help patients with COVID-19 infection. Studies have not yet been completed and no conclusions have been drawn on the safety and efficacy of these drugs in the treatment and prevention of COVID-19 infection. It should be noted that neither hydroxychloroquine nor azithromycin nor lopinavir / ritonavir are indicated for the treatment or prevention of COVID-19 infection according to the approved therapeutic indications for these medicinal products.
