Overview: National Institute of Public Health is closely monitoring the epidemic of respiratory disease caused by a new coronavirus identified in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. The National Institute has recommended all Regional Public Health Directors and Health workers to raise their level of vigilance and to report suspicious cases in all public and private health institutions in Kosovo. At the international airport we are monitoring the situation in case of suspicious people with contagious diseases. The plane crew should follow operational procedures recommended by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) regarding the management of suspicious persons with contagious diseases on board.
