Overview: The Irish Government published a national action plan on COVID-19. The stated aims of the plan are to minimise the risk of people becoming unwell, minimise the health, wellbeing and social impact for people who may be at greater risk and reduce economic and social disruption.
The plan set out the government”s three phase response, comprising containment, delay and mitigation phases to address limited transmission, emerging outbreaks, and widespread sustained transmission, respectively.
