Overview: The European Commission announces the common European response to the coronavirus outbreak. The establishment of a Coronavirus response team. The response consists of measures concerning: public health (including adequate supply of protective equipment and medical supplies across EU); border control and mobility; measures to support economies and livelihoods of member countries and their residents; support for scientific research to combat covid-19.
