Overview: The National Board of Health publishes guidelines that set the framework for who should refer to the assessment and possibly. offered test for COVID-19. People without symptoms or with mild symptoms of respiratory symptoms are not considered to be in need of health care and are encouraged to stay home until they are healthy. It is generally considered to be infectious when you have been healthy and without symptoms for 48 hours.
