Overview: Recommendations of the Ministry of Health to citizens of the Czech Republic and other persons coming from Italy

Given the current epidemiological situation, the Ministry of Health asks all citizens now returning from Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy, Piedmont and Veneto to stay at home upon arrival and contact their doctor or hygiene station in their region by TELEPHONE and consult. The doctor – epidemiologist of the relevant hygienic station then decides on the next procedure.

Travelers who have been in these regions since mid-January 2020 to monitor their health for 14 days after leaving the region, focusing on the symptoms of an incipient respiratory disease, such as a fever over 38 degrees Celsius. C and breathing difficulties. If you experience these symptoms of respiratory illness, stay at home, limit contact with other people and contact your doctor by phone, who will organize further health care in cooperation with the regional hygiene station.
