Overview: The government has taken further emergency measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus; all arrivals from high-risk countries must be quarantined.

Czech citizens and foreigners living in the Czech Republic may not leave the country from midnight from Sunday to Monday, March 16, with a few exceptions. At the same time, a similar ban will apply for foreigners who would like to come to the Czech Republic and do not have a permanent or long-term temporary residence there. This was decided by the government of Andrej Babiš at an extraordinary meeting on Friday, March 13, 2020, together with other preventive measures against the spread of coronavirus.
