Overview: The National Government requests the Gorgas Commemorative Institute for Health Studies to validate serological tests, as a first phase of part of their strategy for CoVid-19, for their subsequent use and application target to members of the public force and health personnel.
The goal of scientists and authorities is to find answers to questions such as: How many people did the SARS-CoV-2 virus infect? How many asymptomatic cases have not been registered? What was the extent of the disease? From there it will be possible to better understand the behavior of the virus in the country.
