Overview: The National Immigration Service (SNM), through Resolution 5731 of March 13, 2020, ordered the extension of the validity to the permits of foreigners, which expire from the date, by a 15 business day time span, as of May 18, 2020.
The resolution extension, highlights that the procedures to which the validity is extended include: permit card in proceedings, provisional permit card, non-resident visas, judicial stay card and immigration regularization card.
The SNM resolution also orders the suspension of the biometric filiation procedure and the issuance of a residence card for a period of 15 business days.
