Overview: Executive Decree that adds a transitory article to Executive Decree No. 640 of December 27, 2006, which issues the Vehicle Traffic Regulation in the Republic of Panama.
Said new transitory article establishes that: “during the State of National Emergency declared by Cabinet Resolution No. 11 of March 13, 2020, all drivers of motor vehicles who violate provisions issued by the competent authority and which imply restrictions on mobility , will be sanctioned in accordance with numeral 52 of article 241 of the Traffic Regulations. The sanction will also entail the suspension for three months (3 months) of the driver’s license and the retention and removal of the vehicle “
