Overview: Different health sector working groups were activated. The Costa Rican social security system (CCSS) activated the Operations Control Center at the central level, made up of professionals from different disciplines and management, who have been reviewing and updating the guidelines, procedures, as well as defining the agency. The Ministry of Health convened the Health Sector Table attached to the National Commission for Risk Prevention and Emergency Care (CNE), integrated by the CCSS, Red Cross, the National Animal Health Service (Senasa), 9-1-1 and the Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (AYA).
