Lead People/Agency: The Hon.Prime Minister is the one making decisions on all related implementation of the intervention of COVID-19. He is supported by the Minister for Health, Dr. Ifereimi Waqainabete and the Fiji Police Force Commissioner Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho.

Overview: The intervention involved the lockdown of the greater Suva area. This took place upon the announcment of Fiji’s 6th and 7th COVID-19 case. The 6th case is a 21 year old woman and the 7th case is her husband. The couple is living at Nabua Settlement in Suva and they are securely and hygenically into isolation.
The intended audience are most likely people who have made close contact with this patients because they not only lived in close contact with other families in their settlement, but served in very public-facing job. They worked as hairdressers, one at the Jade Salon at MHCC and the other at the Super Cuts in Damodar City Suva.
The lockdown will take place in a period of 14 days (starting on 3rd April, 2020- 5am), and the following will be closed on entry and exit: the Delanavesi Bridge on the Queen’s Road, the Sawani Junction, and the Nausori Bridge.
