Overview: Perth Airport will increase screening for passengers returning from China to help prevent the coronavirus outbreak from spreading to Western Australia.

Department of Health chief health officer Dr Andrew Robertson said the department was considering several measures to quarantine the novel coronavirus, which emerged in the capital of China’s central Hubei province, Wuhan, in December last year.
