Overview: All visitors from Italy and Iran to Vietnam will be introduced to compulsory quarantine for a period of 14 days on their arrival in Vietnam. The reason is that these two countries have faced widespread of COVID-19. Therefore, application of this temporary policy is believed to help mitigate risks of transmission of the virus in community in Vietnam. The policy is made on the basis of consultation with international organizations (WHO) and relevant delegations to Vietnam.
