Overview: Ministry of Education and Training and Ministry of Information and Communication agreed to establish a mechanism that allows both sides to work together regarding provision of e-learning and Internet based teaching services for free for 43.000 schools nationwide in response to the lockdowns of schools due to the outbreak of COVID-19. The mechanism is important because it provides free-of-charge access to all the schools nationwide, ensuring the basic right to education for all the learners. It also paves a good way for schools, education managers and teachers to establish fundamental structures and facilities to serve e-learning and teaching for future.
