Overview: Temporary ban on entry for tourists, visiting relatives, those studying abroad, or travelling for private business, where they have traveled to countries in the Schengen region, the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland within 14 days before the expected date of arrival in Vietnam; temporarily stop granting visas at border gates. This suspension is valid for 30 days from 12:00 on March 15, 2020 and does not apply to people on entry for diplomatic or official purposes. In the cases of a foreigner being an expert, business manager, or skilled worker, they must undergo medical examination on entry to Vietnam and enterprises and accommodation establishments must apply appropriate anti-epidemic prevention measures, according to regulations.
