Overview: The Thai Government announced a nationwide curfew beginning April 3.
All residents were instructed to remain inside their homes between the hours of 10pm and 4am.
Exemptions were provided for medical and banking personnel, in addition to those supporting logistics for consumer products, farm goods, pharmaceutical products, medical supplies, newspaper, petrol, postal goods or in the support of export and import industries. Movement was also permitted for those moving into quarantine places.
Violation punishable by jail terms of up to 2 years, or fines up to B40,000.
