Overview: The first batch of Sri Lankan students who have gone for studies and are now stranded in India and Pakistan will arrive the country today. Phase One of the program would see Sri Lankan students in SAARC countries being brought back to the country.
Plans are in place to bring back Sri Lankan students trapped in other countries, which include Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and Russia.
