Overview: Indefinite curfew imposed in the Puttalam, Chilaw and Negombo Police Divisions effective 4:30pm 18 March 2020. During the curfew, residents are requested to remain indoors. Exceptions are those engaging in placing deposits for election and handing over nominations, those reporting for work, and all essential services and public transport through these areas.
